​​​​​Mariella Farrugia, ALCM and LLCM, offers private piano lessons to students at St Peter Chanel. Mariella commenced her teaching career in 1985, under the guidance of her mother, a concert pianist and a teacher for over 40 years. 

After relocating to Brisbane in 2005, Mariella started 'The Gap Piano Studio', situated on Waterworks Road, The Gap. Mariella's two children Dylan and ​Carina (pictured), were students at St Peter Chanel and so her association with the school has been a long one. 

Students across all year levels are catered for, with lessons held during the school day, on the school grounds. Children are encouraged to sit for AMEB exams and participate in studio and school concerts.
